Over the last 17 years a great number of Clients or potential clients have always asked "what is your WIN Ratio" related to proposal work. Although they may feel this indicates some level of quality of work, a WIN percentage is as much fate or in your control as the Stock Market. Client honesty, and Client participation are two major factors in an opportunity to increase your chance for a win and produce a high WIN Ratio for a proposal expert or company. There are never any guarantee WINS in Procurement (Death and Taxes yes - Procurement NO).
I have worked alone my entire business and I will provide below a different perspective for you of my WIN percentage in the form of the World Population and I challenge any single person consulting and proposal company who does both Technical and COST as part of their proposal support to let you know what their world per person dollar amount is in WINS.

When you include the Indefinite Quantity WIN dollars (Work that can be ordered on a project), which since 2012 have not really been used by many Government Agencies due to lack of Budget approval as the Congress anad Senate fight their prejudice (clear and present danger) of the first President with a Black or Dark skinned Heritage, my company win dollars for every human on earth is sittng at just under $2.00 dollars for every human being on earth.
My Goal and expertise is leading me in the next 2 to 5 years to achieve a Firm Fixed Price Award dollar for every human on earth of $1.00 dollar per human.
Overall in working alone this is an impressive number and does represent a traditional high WIN ratio when you look back at the last 14 years of the more than 40 years of my 60 on earth. I have been working for the Government or with the Government in handling money and billions of dollars in assets and contracts long enough to Teach at the Doctoral Level and Graduate Data Scientists who can produce these same high dollar results for your company.
